Before becoming a professional Disc Jockey, Russ worked in the radio broadcast industry. He spent over a decade behind the microphone and behind the scenes of major market radio stations. You may have heard him on Alice@97.3, STAR 101(then K101), KABL 960 AM, KISS 98.1 FM, or Jazz 91 KCSM.

Russ started DJing professionally for events in 1996 and left the broadcast industry in 2001 to devote more attention to his DJ clients. He has performed at everything from intimate gatherings of a few dozen people to major events with hundreds of people that were broadcast live on the radio. He has DJ’d at thousands of events and, because of his popularity, his calendar has sold out completely every year since 2000.

He has personally performed for 11 of the Forbes 500 com­panies, various politicians, Hollywood celebrities, record­ing artists, and professional sports teams and players.
