In 1996, Fog City Entertainment began performing at Bay Area events with the simple business principal of providing professional customer focused services for private parties and corporate events. The company was founded by Russ Catanach, who has worked with major Bay Area Radio stations including Alice@97.3, Star 101.3 (then K101) and Kiss-FM. He was the first DJ. Over twenty years later, Fog City Entertainment is now owned by Michael Santillan — also a DJ — and performs at over 300 events annually. The company has expanded beyond the Bay Area to service the greater Los Angeles Area, Monterey Bay Area, Sacramento, and the Central Valley.

Over the last two decades, Fog City Entertainment has grown from a DJ company to a full-service, one-stop-shopping entertainment company, featuring live music, entertainers, sound and lighting, multimedia shows, and more. The company is now home to some of the best DJs in the country. Our DJs perform regularly at night-clubs throughout California (and the world). They have been featured on national radio stations, and hosted daily radio shows.
